About this position
The County Coroner or Medical Examiner is responsible for inquiring into the cause and manner of death of a citizen in their jurisdiction. The County Coroner or Medical Examiner is also responsible for completing test results, documenting evidence, completing autopsies, and providing testimonies.
Eligibility requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a resident of the district
- Must have relevant professional experience
- All persons elected to any county office must be at least 18 years old, U.S. citizens, and residents of the county for at least one year prior to their election.
