About this position
The Local Higher Education Board or Community College Board is responsible for approving projects on new units of instruction and public service, determining new standards for curriculum and administration, and developing procedures for transfer.
Eligibility requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a resident of the district
- Citizen of the United States, of the age of 18 or over, and a resident of State and the territory, which on the date of the election is included in the community college district, for at least one year immediately preceding the election. Residency for Lincoln Land Community College (526) must be a resident of the district for one year preceding the election. [110 ILCS 805/2-12.1, 3-7 (c)]
