About this position
The Parks and Recreation District board member is responsible for overseeing park and recreation operations within the district.
Eligibility requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a registered voter
- Must be a resident of the district
- Qualified elector/registered voter. A person is not eligible to take the oath of office for a municipal office if that person is, at the time required for taking the oath of office, in arrears in the payment of a tax or other indebtedness due to the municipality or has been convicted in any court located in the United States of any infamous crime, bribery, perjury, or other felony.

No Filing fee. Signature requirements: Petition signed by not less than 2% of the number of ballots cast a the last election for trustee or commisioner in the district, but in no case less than 25 such votes
